do you think there's a predestined future for everyone?...or is it determined as life goes along?.....
if your future were to be predestined, what is it predestined for?

At first, I misunderstood the question, and was going to answer to the effect that to believe that I do not exist seemed rather pointless. But what you are after is the reason for my existence, for which there are several answers:
To pass on my genes. Done that.
To try to increase the world's wisdom. Doing that (it's why I'm posting these answers).
Carl Sagan said: "If you want your life to have significance, do something significant." Works for me.

the second part of your question is easy to answer. by logic the only thing that you are 100% predestined to do is dye, it is one of the things that makes all of us one. the first part of your question is more difficult and that is because it is philosophical one but i will try by using physics. there is a physics Principal that said if we are able to know the position and velocity of every particle in the universe we would be able to predict to 100% there interaction throughout the rest of time, therefor if we as a race had the knowledge then you would be predestined to to take part in an event in the year 2032 in a specific day in a specific hour but since we do not your future is what make of it.

I believe in predestination, I believe I have a purpose, but I do not know what that purpose is, we cannot change what will happen in the future, it is already set regardless of the measures one takes

I think I exist because the last time I looked in the mirror, there I was!

Seriously, I believe we are all predestined by God Almighty. We miss the target because of our mistakes, but God knew our weaknesses before we came along outo of the womb.

The future is going to turn out some way. a way. a single way, that is for sure, but it hasn't happened yet, but it is going to turn out a single way, almost a paradox. To refine your question would be like,,: Is the fact that the future is a going to turn out a single way and is a continuation of the present mean that the way it is going to turn out already set? I would say no, for the individuals perspective, The possibilities for a change of your current position fan out like a angle into the future, smaller diff closer to you in time, greater poss of change the farther you go out,, but that LEADS BACK TO THE DEFINING OF YOU R QUESTION,, BECAUSE the future is going to turn out only one way, and is a continuation of the past and present, is it predetermined somehow. The only way it could be predetermined was if from some other perspective it already happened, a view from outside of time,, and we, as human beings are probably at least thousands of years from even being able to begin to crack into that level of complexity. simple answer,, we don't know. Also, just because the future can only turn out one way, doesn't mean we don't have any say or effect on what that way ends up being, I would say we have free will.

On a personal scale I think that generaly, our outcome, as human beings, is determined to the greatest degree by our Character. your character can determine your future.Start there and the out comes can be most easily controlled from there.

i think i exist because my mom and dad decided to reproduce. i dont believe in a predestined future. i believe in free will....i think we create the blueprint of our lives. of course some things affect us when we do not try in any way to get involved in them, but i do believe in free will.

I feel sorry for those who believe that there's a predestined future, and that they have no effect on their future. i could imagine that being a really crappy feeling.

I exist because of a broken condom.

Fate is inexorable, but there is no predestined future. You can pull the trigger, or not. It is your choice.

We exist to satisfy the innate thirst of our souls or minds to interact with the unknown (things in the world of idealism)/ the unseen: chiefly; God and spirits. Nothing can come out of nothing. If there is anything that move, there must be a cause, a prime mover who himself is unmovable. We exist to search out the realities of the prime mover. And know how to make him a good companion. For he has some particles in man. those particles cannot die because, himself is a spirit and all particles that come from him are same. Therefore in him we live, move and have our beings.

..to help you prove that YOU exist....!

Nothing is predestined. Awareness of this truth has been one of the biggest evolutionary steps in Man's mental development.

Pre-destination discounts our freedom of choice. I have made mistakes, through them I grow. Why do I grow? Maybe solely to understand another persons pain. Empathy, sympathy, consideration. I exist because God has not detemined that I am done yet on this earth.
