I need to write an 8 to 10 line seasonal metaphor poem like about the holidays or Christmas. It needs to have two or more metaphors. could you help me? any ideas?

Some ex. are The ones you love are presents.
The season is warm.
Peace is hope.
Love is the spirit.
Hearts are singing.
Christmas (or substitute another word) is a blessing.
Happiness is a smile.
Joy is laughter.
You are a present.
A smile is a pleasure.
Christmas is bright fireworks exploding inside of me.
My heart is a drum.
A smile is a warm feeling.
(I can't use any of these examples but i can tweak them so they are different)
please make it rhyme. the teacher said it has to rhyme

my poem only has to include two or more metaphors.
could you also tell me how i would divide my poem into like stanzas? like if i had 8 lines, i could do 4 lines and 4 lines or 2 lines 2 lines 2 lines 2 lines. or something else.
i would like it to be about just winter holidays. like christmas except not about christianity

G'day Sarah S,

Thank you for your question.

A metaphor is direct comparison between two things often unrelated.

For example, Christmas is a summers day in the middle of winter. Its warmth spreads throughout my loved ones.

Think of the metaphors you wish to use and then arrange the rest of the poem so that it rhymes.

I have attached sources for your reference.

Seasons regards.

The season is warm
Cause warm are your eyes.
Your kisses taste better
than all Christmas pies.

Your laughter is jingling,
I feel presents are near...
No Santa is needed,
You're the best gift, my dear :)

Small talk with him. in case you could make him tender round you, he's all yours. Get pleasant, yet don't be overbearing. enable him comprehend (inadvertently) that he's loose to assert what he desires to. tell him about what pursuits you and word if he stocks some thing in elementary. best of luck <;)
