i am a diehard giants fan and i personally would love to get ronde...he has lost a step but is still better than anyone we currently have...as for tiki..i personally want him to retire..i can't handle for another year just reading and hearing about how tiki barber is going to retire at the end of the season...he really drew attention away from the team and i think created a nuisance for the giants...i think jacobs will be just fine in the role and the possibility of drafting someone or signing a veteran free agent to split roles with him will be successful...though tiki has been great, he has only been great the past 3 season and i believe giants can survive without him, but will not be able to survive if they don't get a better secondary

There was an interview with Tiki's brother Ronde the other night. Tiki's brother said that Tiki has told him no. He is done. They both have degrees. Tiki wants to pursue another dream after shared projects in co-authoring three children's books and hosting a radio sports talk show,
Today's 1 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4) represents the last time the Barber brothers, Tiki and Ronde, will compete against each other once again.

Unc, thats a great question, AND a great idea.
And no one wants that more than me. In fact, im very surprised Tiki wants to go out this way, the way the season has went.
However.......
I think he's done, dude. He claims he feels nothing but utter pain every Monday Morning thru the whole week. Plus he's got multi-million dollar white collar jobs awaiting him. Plus, he's a daddy like you and me. Probably wants quality time with the kids.
Dude, i'd give anything for him to stay. I say he steps it up the next 4 games and tries to get the Giants to where theyre supposed to be: the playoffs
ONE MORE YEAR..... ONE MORE YEAR.....ONE MORE YEAR.....

Anything is possible...but I think Tiki is taking a page out of the Barry Sanders script. That being quit while one is still young and relatively healthy.
All you have to do is look around at all the 15 year football vets to see what longer careers can do...as I understand it, John Elway has difficulty walking on stairs now due to his beatings.
I don't blame him at all for leaving now.

Well, it would prolly be the Giants best bet at keeping him around, but its not going to happen. Tiki already made it 100% clear he isnt going to come back and is going to pursue broadcasting and acting.
At least hes going out on top

I'd love to see Tiki stay for one more season. however, seeing how the Giants have imploded this year, I'm sure Tiki is counting the days until he starts his new career with FoxNews

When you play your corners 10 yards off the line of scrimmage, it doesn't matter who you have playing there. Tim Lewis is keeping the Giants from having a great defense.

No chance he realises that the Giants will be no better next season than this. He is young , rich, and the media love him. ESPN will be his destination next year.
