Death note is highly recommendable. Paranoia Agent is ridiculously addictive, too. If you are into romantic comedies and possibly yaoi, I would also recommend the comedies "Sukisyo" and "Kyo kyou Maou" (i.e. God Save Our King.) Both are very funny.
