The human race may not survive long...but this world, called Earth, will continue, till either something knocks it out of orbit around the sun, or the sun explodes. No one can say.

hi to whomsoever it may concern -there are two angles to it
one -scientific two-political or diplomatic
the earth survives because of the sun the sun is a star which is about halfway in its journey it is going to die(about 4 billion years)
then all life on earth will be destroyed and also the earth
political angle- there are thousands of nuclear bombs with large number of countries -if there is a war III world war then the earth
will finish much earlier

As long as we want it to. Will power is everything. If we wanted we could figure out a way, in 10 million years to suck off all the excess gas off the sun so it doesn't nova.
10 million years sounds reasonable to figure out how to do that.
btw nerds, it would be easier to drain the sun than find a new earth!

Up to 50 million years from now. After that we will be affected by fire rain which will destroy this earth and the earth will be pulled by the sun.

When the sun will loose all it's gases like helium, hydrogen etc after billions of years it will swallow all the planets and then become a dwarf planet.
