For me the star player for Liverpool gotta be their captain, Stevie G.Because he can play any role in the midfield position, his skill are fantastic and every time he shoots for goal he will score.(not every shoots but almost every shoots for goal he will score)

Definitely the captain,Steven Gerrard since he has become an inspiration to Liverpool FC and all Liverpool fans.I can't imagine Liverpool without Steven Gerrard.

Jamie Carragher. Yes, Steven Gerrard may be the most influential mid-field player at Liverpool, but don't overlook hard-working and committed players like Jamie Carragher. He has been a long-serving member at the club and from my view, he's often an under-rated player alongside Makelele of Chelsea.
Look at the Liverpool games, Carragher also almost played a part in every single one.

I like the 2 spanish players from liverpool though..(Luis Garcia and Xabi Alonso)

steven gerrard without doubt. he is the captain because he is a leader he was wanted by chelsea because he is top class, one of the best if not the best in the world. but second is carragher he is solid in defence
