The Reverend who ran the Almighty God Chapel called his wife one night to tell her he was running late, but the phone kept ringing and ringing. He was a little worried, but figured he would just wrap it up and go home. When he got home, his wife said the phone did not ring at all, so he figured he dialed wrong and forgot about it.

A week after that, he received a call from a man who asked him if he had called him. The Reverend said no, he did not recall calling the man. The man said, "I let the phone ring and ring." The Reverend replied, "Oh, yes! I had tried to call my wife but I must have dialed your number instead. Yes I let it ring many times. Why didn't you pick it up?"

The man replied, "Last week I had decided to commit suicide. I sat on my bed with the bottle of pills, and said out loud, "God, if you don't want me to do this, please send me a sign." Suddenly the phone rang, and the caller ID said "ALMIGHTY GOD". I was too afraid to pick up the phone!"
