occurred there. The reason why I ask is for years my intutition has kicked in when there has been unsafe places. My family and I always holidayed at this spot, this time around it was not the same and at the insistance of me and my sister we left. we found out there had been a double murder there a couple of weeks before. I went to this clinic to see a specialist and felt distincly uncomfortable so I left only to find that there had been a shooting just out side. I lived in this house and felt quite upset about the back room only to find there had been a fire and someone died. Do you have any experiences like that???????????Is it intutition?

Oh yes indeed White Moon...When I first got married we lived in a house where I always felt a little uneasy. One night I thought I saw a figure standing by the top of the staircase near the bathroom. It was just a flash and I thought it may just have been a shadow. Well I asked my mother if she would know if anyone had died in that house. She said " Now dear you tell me what house in (my town) has never had someone die there through the years". Well one night after that I awakened and had to go to the bathroom. I didn't bother to turn on the light and just carefully and sleepily walked around the big oldfashioned armchair that was near the bed and went to the bathroom and then it dawned on me that there was no big armchair in the bedroom I came back to the bedroom and turned on the lights and everything was as it should be and of course there was no armchair. The next time I went to my mother's house my uncle was there visiting and before I left I again asked mom about the house. My uncle answered "Oh yes, some years ago a man died tragically in that house. He cut his throat in the bathroom". It seems mom knew this all along but didn't want to scare me. Actually I wasn't scared, only curious. I wanted to know why I felt like that about the house.

My grandmother died when I was ten but I remember her telling me one day when I was about nine or so, that should anyone see what they thought was a spirit, they should not be afraid and just say...'In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ...What is troubling you'. Must admit I have never said that but I always say a prayer and make the sign if the Cross when I feel there is anything unusual happening and I have been known to sprinkle holy water about.

I have always had these feelings but I believe that I am protected by God.

I remember the times my little son used to say that someone was standing by his bed at night. I told him it was probably his dad or me as we always looked in on our way to bed but he said no it was someone he didn't know. Sounds funny I know.....but when I got the house to myself I sprinkled holy water about and said a little prayer. My son never mentioned the strange person again. Some time after that I wakened one night and (thought) I could clearly see a man standing about three feet from the bed. I just blessed myself and I truly cannot remember what happened after that. My husband said that it may have been a bad dream, and perhaps it was, but it was out with the holy water again for me and prayers for a lost soul and thank God there were no more strange happenings in that house. That was some years ago and by the way that house was a new build and yet I thought the man's coat was from an older time. I don't understand, perhaps I was having a bad dream.

You may have a very sensitive "sixth sense". No, your "sixth sense" isn't just about seeing dead people; it's actually an unexplainable feeling that can affect your other senses. Some have sixth senses that allow them to see colorful auras around people. Some get weird vibes from people and want to stay away from them. Others can predict amazing things, like when their favorite song might come on the radio or when their father will pass away. A sixth sense is nearly impossible to control and it's almost never the same in people. It's not widely accepted and researched little. So, chances are, you have a stronger sixth sense than most and can feel the negative energy the family gives off. Who knows? They might have a dark secret and you subconsciously know what it is! You might want to try getting to know them first before making any judgements, however.

Once my mum went in a house and got really freaked out by an upstairs room. She said she could feel the presence of a little boy. She later found out that a boy had died in there from cancer i think.
I was staying at my BF's house once, and was in bed (in the middle of the day, hungover) and i was drifting in and out of sleep when i felt myself slide down the bed. Only an inch or two, but i didn't move a muscle. It was like there was this force drawing me to the corner of the room that was so strong. I could see it in my head and the corner of the room was black - but when i plucked up the courage to open my eyes it all looked fine. It was truly horrible, i was too scared to even breathe! Thankfully my BF came in and all was normal again.
I would love to know the history of the house but have no idea where to start.

I dont have this gift but my sister in law does. She gets these 'feelings' when she's in a place where things bad have happened or where death has occured. It ranges from her feeling slightly uneasy to getting full blown migraine headaches which mean she has to leave the place. She visited Glastonbury and had to leave after a couple of hours because she felt so ill. As someone else said it is a gift - maybe you should think about taking up something like Reiki Healing - people with this gift make very good healers xxxx

Yup. And sometimes get flashes of the future in dreams and other things. I took up reading tarot cards which gave me an outlet (and a focus) for all that stuff and occasionally helps one of my friends. Try to treat it as a gift (rather than a freaky annoyance;-) Its OK to ignore it if it bugs you but it probably won't go away even if you do (tried that). I personally don't tell everyone I meet about this stuff just because I don't like to be treated as "slightly flaky" (I know people who do that are wrong, just don't feel like attempting to reeducate the world). so you might be surprised at the number of people who are keeping stuff like that to themselves! Soooo, I say embrace it (quietly)and see where it takes you. As far as I'm concerned Intuition, ESP, and even "magic" are different words for the same thing. Some people are just "more sensitive". Good luck

We once decided to visit our local Asda (Walmart) store for the first time - walked through the doors and instantly turned tail and walked out. We (My wife and I) both had an irrational sense of doom about the place. We've never been back since.

We later learned that it had been built on a former Steel mill where at least four people had died in work accidents.

I have had feelings of knowing things will happen before they do.
Not all the time just now and then.
Mostly when it could include me getting into trouble or dangerous situations.

I have know when spirits are around but as far as if someone has died there before no i personally haven't.
But there are people that do.
Keep listening to your gift.. it will get stronger .

Blessings ALD

I think it is like a sense given by God for you to know when something is dangerous, or in my case information has been kept from me. My advice now would be at least to consider leaving as an option. I've never done that, and mostly could not with the situations being what they were. (no danger involved)

yes that has happened to me.
one example..
i used to have to walk past a certain house on the way to my friends after school. i was fairly new to the area so knew none of its history. anyway as i passed this particular house on the other side of the street i used to get a feeling i can only describe as sheer terror! i eventually told my friend about this and she asked me to point out the house which i did. she spoke with her mum and came back a little pale, many years before someone had killed their family inthat house!
