What kind of an idea is that. Why do we need instant replay in baseball. What is there to instant replay. If we did that then people like Lou Pinella cannot run out onto the field and throw third base across the field arguing with the umpire. That is the fun part of the game sometimes!

absolutely positively no instant replay in baseball.
1. there are very few times when it would be useful
2. baseball is not nearly as cut and dry as football.. many times you really need to see everything to know the play.
3. those umpires are outstanding, rarely do they miss a call
4. it would slow the game down too much, just look at the nfl
5. there are four umpires out there (sometimes 6). if they dont see it right, very often a camera is not going to give a perfect angle/view of what happened.

boxing i have no idea about

I love the sport, but the pace of the game can be positively glacial at times. Adding instant replay is a sure-fire way to add 10-15 minutes to every game.

I'm with the consensus here - a resounding 'no' to instant replay in baseball.

As far as boxing, it may work for very specific situations, having to do with the count and the clock only.

baseball should allow instant replay if it comes down to deciding a call or a third strike
