Very disgusting. In a land of Dhyan Chand, a team like China has defeated India.

A defeat is always a defeat and can not be digested. And such a defeat, horrible. This defeat is bigger than the defeat at the hands of the SA. SA is the 2nd best team in the world but China in Hockey,.....

The Hockey Federation is doing what, is anybody's guess. Since the advent of MS Gill, the team has gone to the rock bottom. He should either mend ways, devise an action plan or just move off.

In India, Hockey though is the national game its knowledge is very limited among the people. Most of us do not even know that such a match has taken place.

People stomach the defeat due to a combination of two reasons:-

1] People do not know much about the game.

2] Cricket is more popular than Hockey

as someone already mentioned,Defeat is unacceptable for general public...atleast in sports they want india to win. indian cricket had huge fan following, compared to hockey...indian team...their wins are exaggerated.naturally their losses too.

otherwise why would media would call them heroes...when they are nothing more than a cricketers.
