You would probably need US certification before you can become a nurse in the US.

Nurses are in high demand almost everywhere in the United States. If you are planning to finish your nursing degree in America, you will need another job while studying for the degree. Many immigrant women work in cleaning jobs (such as hotel maids), as sales associates in stores, and as packaging workers in factories (particularly food processing plants). These jobs generally don't pay well, but they are easy to find and they will give you an income while you finish your studies. Your brothers can probably give you a more specific idea of what jobs are available in the area you plan to move to.
