I'm sorry. The BCS, just simply sucks. Now I am not a Boise State fan, but come on. They are the only other undefeated team in the top ten. Hands down they should be palying for the national title. Can you imagine what those young men must be feeling right now. No consideration whatsoever. Ok, they both play (Ohio State) in their perspective bowl games, and if they should both win, then have them play at a neutral site for the national championship. At least give them a chance to lose or win it. So now if Florida State loses, then they will have 2 losses on the season. Very simple if you ask me. I guess the money is to big LOL to pit 2 undefeated teams together.

I agree with you. Boise State should be playing for the national championship instead of Florida or Michigan or any other one-loss team. Its the BCS system that, as you said "simply sucks." Just because they are in a small conference, doesn't mean that they don't deserve to be the national champions. And yes, it's all about money, what isn't about money in this world? Even these games are about money. Every team that is playing for a bowl game is playing for money which at the end is going to be shared by the whole conference, unless its an independent team like Notre Dame.

I'm not a Boise State fan either.

Boise State desires to end a million or 2 in the perfect BCS standings. the undertaking is that BSU does not play every person else for something of the three hundred and sixty 5 days, and the only marquee wins are Oregon State and Virginia Tech. If Oklahoma or Oregon stay undefeated, they could stay basically before BSU. additionally an undefeated SEC or a million loss Alabama will leap them. additionally TCU has a extra constructive threat of leaping basically before BSU than BSU has of staying forward. For Boise State to creating it the the NCG, you choose undefeated communities to lose.

Boise State should talk to Auburn, the other undefeated team not to play for the National title.

well, the thing is, boise state managed to go undefeated yes, but they played sacramento state and idaho and utah state. every single team in the sec is as good, if not better, than any team that boise state played. boise state went undefeated against a cupcake schedule. florida lost once at auburn, while beating tennessee on the raod, and beating lsu, georgia, and arkansas. just because a team wins all its games in a cupcake conference doesn't make it better than a team that lost once in the best conference in the country. florida played the hardest schedule in the country. boise state will play for a title if they go undefeated with a killer non-conference schedule (all bcs conference teams, and at least 2 ranked)

I give Boise St. all the credit they deserve, they are a good football team, but if they were to play Floridas schedule they would not have finished the season undefeated. I think with floridas schedule they would go 7-5 of 8-4 at best in the regular season.

C'mon... Boise? WHo cares that they didn't lose a game. Look at who they played. Does that mean they can't win their bowl game no, but they could never play for National title unless they at least..at ""Least"" beat 2 top15 teams and still have a perfect season. The only problem is their conference is not tough. They'd have to pick up a game with Notre Dame who's not in a conference, but plays tough teams. The difference in players in Boise having a players who's 6'0 200lbs and can run a 4.9 dash. and Buckeyes player who's 6.5 240 lbs and can run a 4.4.. Now put 11 guy's on the field with those mismatches. Guess who'll win. That's why Boise can't play the Big Schools.Unless they prove in the regular season they can beat them. Plus they play on that damn Blue Field. How gay is that.

I understand what you mean. Boise St. beat every team that they played. But it would be the same as an undefeated JV team playing an undefeated Varsity team.

If there were a playoff system, then sure, Boise St. gets an automatic spot because of their record. But as long as the BCS is around, they'll never play for a national championship.

Sorry, but just because someone goes undefeated doesn't mean they're any good. The WAC is horrid.

I don't think you'll have to worry about them being undefeated in a month, because Oklahoma is going to dismantle them (not the same as 2004, when Utah played a really bad Pittsburgh team in the Fiesta Bowl and annihilated them).
