I find it hard to believe that your church would be rude and unsympathetic to a young girl in your situation.
Im sorry but if you are looking for handouts in the internet then you are going to be disapointed..............as its sad to say but you just cant trust people anymore,.........you could be telling the truth, but you could be making up a story aswell.......its easy to do on here.
All I can suggest is that you contact your church again, or Salvation army, call welfare, get child support chased up..............I have also suggested to other people with similar questions,..........wash cars, mow lawns, take in some ironing, do any kind of odd jobs to get by.
Put things on layaway and pay them off........( I am a single mum too and this is how I get things for my daughters through the year..)
Get a job..........sell your computer and use the internet connection money for presents.

I'm really surprised that the Salvation Army and the Catholic Church tuned you away. Have you tried St. Vincent De Paul's or other churches? If I can find out more, I'll let you know. It's also hard to tell if someone is scamming us on this board as well. I hope your story is true. Department of Social Services may be able to help as well. Internet service is expensive, and that kinda makes me wonder about you.

Sorry, I do not have any money, either.
Try getting some food stamps, and call the local churches and food banks. Look in the front section of the phone book, ours has a listing of places to go for help.

Sorry I am along with the others. We really have no clue who you are. And for all we know, you could just be scamming us. If not I am sorry to hear about it. But this isn't the place to come on and ask for gifts... people just won't do it.
Contact all of the places everone listed.

Ask local churches or charities. Nobody is going to give you money over the internet.
