YOu should now, but its not important in your everylife with your husband, i mean to say it's a matter of bussiness negotation, 6 months ago the girl used to work with other resturant maybe she finished her contract to that said resturant, and she applied in the other restaurant which is manage by your husband, dont think inside the box... dont make a monster out of your husband coz it too unfair to him... you might missed interpret the scenario... be open to your husband ask him. and dont be paranoid...

thats ' alll

I think the answer is in your first point "my marriage is rocky. Perhaps you and he should tighten the communication between you and start sharing emotional intimacy again.
I imagine that you feel insecure about your relationship due to the communication break down and his hiring an ex - co worker. To me, that's really not the issue - it's you two and your relationship that needs to get stronger. As far as the girl he hired, who knows it could be a favor to her (maybe she was out of work) maybe she's a great worker...but again that's not your relationship issue. Let's say she was "the other woman"...would that be her fault or HIS? ...but anyway I digress - ...Get the communication going again, share your insecurities (don't bomb on him about her - but you could ask....after at least opening the pathway to calm communications.
Good Luck!

First of all, ideally marriage means sharing everything. Talking about stuff including stuff at work. So yeah, he should have shared with you that he hired this girl, in the same manner that he should share if he hired a guy. Its all about being friends in your marriage. Be careful not to jump into conclusions that are not confirmed. Is he really having an affair or did he just hire this girl to actually work for him? Just because a marriage is having problems doesn't mean there has to be an affair. Confront him about it and seek marital counseling.

Is there a reason why he would need to inform you of such a decision? Have you discussed this with him in the past and come to an agreement that you'd need to be informed before something like this could happen?

Why is your marriage rocky? Have you discovered him cheating before?

Unless you are a partner in this business why should he report to you on who he hires? I don't get it.
His job...he will do whats best for the business ...right? Or you think he should consult with you first on every decision he makes at his work?

I would get involved in the resturant, starting going there. or try getting a job there. i would be worried. he most likely already cheated.

What man will admit to cheating??? did he really think that you would not notice?
If your relationship is rocky at best and this stuff continues, up to you as to how much more you willing to ignore.

If he normally tells you stuff about the biz, then yes. If he doesnt, then probably not. Simply keep your eyes peeled, make unexpected visits to the restaurant, and hopefully his 'working' hours wont 'increase'.

if she is a good employee he might have depended on her a lot for the WORK she does. Don't make anything out of nothing.
