Magick.............
I do raise my own personal energy, and this I send out into the universe.
I like to think energy is like magic or magic is like energy.
It must be said that magic has its own energy.
Using ideas from
Quote:
1905 , Einstein created the quantum theory of light, the idea that light exists as tiny packets, or particles, which he called photons. Alongside Max Planck's work on quanta of heat Einstein proposed one of the most shocking idea in twentieth century physics: we live in a quantum universe, one built out of tiny, discrete chunks of energy and matter.
--------------------------------------------
So i feel We do live in a quantum universe, one built out of tiny, discrete chunks of energy and matter..
Also mixing this idea with "Every Action has an Reaction" by Sir Issac Newton's laws of physics
--------------------------------------------
I felt .. if we draw on our inner power / energy, call it magic and this produced energy/ magic is then push it from ourselves out into the universe.
As everything we send out into the universe comes back, I do feel it can come in different ways to us. As every action has a reaction.
Blessings ALD

Hmm... magic as in what you get in Final Fantasy or whatever?... I WISH! lol However, magic in this reality... I consider magic to be real because I think of it as just a term for "illusions." If that's the case, then I can say it's real because illusions are actually here as is demonstrated by Criss Angel, magician extroardinare and waaaay too hot to be 38. *shock* Hehe.

Magic is the sickest thing ever. Wayne Houchin, a now famous illusionist, quoted a famous magician..
"The secret to life is to appreciate the pleasure of being terribly, terribly deceived."
I believe this to be true, and alhtough magic has its weaknesses, nothing is better than a good old mind twister

That's an awfully broad question. Overall, no. David Copperfield and all those guys (Penn & Teller, etc.) are skilled illusionists. They just do good tricks. (Penn & Teller, by the way are big on Atheism activism. It's an interesting commentary on anything they have to say that they make their careers out of deceiving people, isn't it?)
Most all 'magic' is BS/power of suggestion/the art of finding willing dupes. But there is a spiritual realm in which fallen spirits attempt to influence and decieve people to gain control over them or extract worship. This is a black pit that can swallow a curious soul. Avoid all that crap as there is no way it will enrich you in any way that will help you after this mortal life ends. Instead of magic, seek a dose of the miraculous - Jesus's blood can wash your sins away and make your spirit white as snow. Now THAT's something to see!

magic is usually used as a synonym for "phenomena I do not understand and/or have no ready, rational explanation for, but since I just saw it happen I cannot deny". So yes there is magic... at least til science catches up!

you have to understand magic is a word that is given to something that has not been scientifically proved down to its origin. so magic can be different for me and you. I might not know how to do a simple card trick by putting a card up my sleeve which would be magic for me, but if you knew how to do the trick, it would just be a trick for you and not magic. You know how the trick scientifically works and so its not magic for you. So I do believe magic exists. Its just a different name for ignorance. And this ignorance is not bad. Its just a turn of events that you know what you know and don't what you don't!!

satanists believe in 2 types of magic lesser magic like "green thumb" and "Midas touch" and greater magic which actually is requires a ritual and is formal.
there are all types of magic though. there is imitative magic such as vodoo dolls among other things.
i'm taking a course called "magic, ritual and religion" great class.

If you read Genesis in the holy bible - you will find Abraham used to move from place to place setting up alters where he sacrificed rams to God to please him, so did Moses. They made blood sacrifices and meditated(controlling their will) and God appeared and did things for them, actual miracles and for knowledge.
The 6 + 7 books of moses has his "sigils" and magical incantations in them, so yes, magic has been around since genesis. It exists.
