No, I would say that every part on there is about 10-20 percent overpriced, check here to do some comparison shopping http://www.newegg.com/. Also, that video card is crap for gaming, get something better, 7600 or 7800.

Seems reasonable, but being that you have specs on how much each part of the system costs. I would upgrade the graphics card to at least a geforce 7 series. (Note: That price seems a bit high to me on that card anyways) Windows XP Pro, you can save about $30 on that by buying it some place else. That monitor also seems to be a little high $50 or so. I think you have room to negotiate some. I see that he is charging you for labor but something else to keep in mind is people who build systems and then sell them usually have a slight mark up on the components. It's a way that they use to make more money. Think of it like getting your car fixed. Sure you could go out and find the parts cheaper, but then you have to do it yourself. I would say if you like the specs of the system you're getting a fair shake on the deal. Before you buy I would see if I could knock off $100 or so. Also, see what they offer for service and warranty. If you don't know much about computers, it would be worth it just to have someone local that you can call and troubleshoot any problems you might have.

Probably a little overpriced, should be able to get system like that for $1200 including the monitor. What's the system bus? It's good for gaming but 1Ghz system bus and up would be good also.
