okay, so I see smatterings of rumors all over that wisconsin is trying to annex the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I can't find anyhting offical, so does anyone know anyhting about this?

Re-drawing the state lines takes an act of the U.S. Congress.

I guess you'd have to go to either of Congresses websites and see what they're voting on (you'd have to check it every day, and you're not sure it'll happen, so I'll wait till I see it on CNN.)

That would be interesting, though. It'd be the first state change in many people's lifetimes.

What a hoot! The Yoopers are more Wisconson-y than Michigan-y, so it might be a good idea. But I think the states' constitutions would be against such a thing, don' cha' know?
