I can answer this question. If you want it to look good or even then you better do it yourself. I had a procedure done once and did not have time to prep myself and the nurse did it and the nurse just shaved where they needed to and I looked horrible after surgery. If you want it to look good after surgery I mean "pretty" then u better shave it yourself. If I can help it I will always shave myself. They will go back over it but just tell em when they do to follow your lines!

They shave you themselves before doing the surgery. If you are going to be under anaesthesia, you're not even going to know when they shave you, as they do it after you are already asleep.

If it would put you in an awkward position and embarrass you do it your self. It also depends if the nurse is male or female and what your gender is

it doesn't matter if you shave are not you will be reshaved and the area treated to kill any bacteria on your skin.
