my child's father got those charges i was just wondering what to you think he would get.. im curious because i wouldnt know myself..

he is 23, and the girl is 16

any answers would be appreciated..

carnal knowledge means it was consentual but still an elder having intercourse with a juvie

In Michigan, the maximum penalty for 3rd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct (which is basically what your child's father was charged with) is 15 years. Whether he will get that much of a penalty or not will depend on past criminal history, especially if he is in the habit of having sex with youngsters. You are better off without him and prison is right where he belongs.

Statutory rape. This does not matter if it was consentual. Legally, a minor is not in the frame of mind to make this decision.

Probably under a year if it was consensual and he can make a deal with the prosecutor.
Just be lucky she wasn't under 14.

lots of times a shiv stuck in him by some lifer who hates a molester and can't get anymore time anyway (I hope ) lots of times a few years can be a life sentence serves them right think of it as evolution in action ( sorry Larry and Jerry )

i think it probably depends on the state laws,
but he would definately have to register as a sex-offender, which would be made available to the public, and would prohibit him from getting many jobs and probably from seeing his child without other supervision.
