I hope so - it's a damn good toy! But Legos might be more fun nowadays - they come with more bells and whistles. You could get them a cool castle set or something like that.

I think Lincoln Logs are a great idea! Any toy that kids can build and create something is a toy that will never go out of style.
I saw a really cool Lincoln Log set that has a train! I think it was around $50, but it looked really cool.

My aunt does daycare and i know the kids at her house love the lincoln logs :o) (i still like to play with them too and i'm 26 LOL)

Oh I'm sure! I loved lincoln logs as a kid (like 10 years ago), i used to play with them for hours, i def wore them out, lol...

Mine didn't. I bought them because I enjoyed them as a child. We live in an old house, and most of the cords for the weights in the windows have rotted, so the longer ones are now being used to help prop them open during the months we actually open them.

them there lincoln logs are not all that popular anymore. today the kids have to be spoiled with ipods and video games

My 3 year old son loves them. I got them for him a couple months ago when I found out I was pregnant and he is occupied for hours. He loves to show me what he builds. Same with Lego's, connects, anything he can put together and pull apart he loves.
besides he gets to build things then tear them down what boy does not love it?

My 4 year old son has the deluxe set at his grandpa's house. That's the only toy he wants to play with when he goes to visit.

Mine did but they prefered legos and still play with the legos alot even now.
