I am a very friendly girl that can be somewhat shy at first. I try to be nice to everyone and I'm always smiling and laughing. Well I don't want my friendliness to be mis-construed as interest or flirting. I don't touch guys, unless they are my friends, but I always keep the proper distance and never say anything overtly flirtatious, however I tend to attract stalker-ish/psychotic-ish type guys (one guy threatened to stalk and kill me) and my friends and family say it is because I am "too friendly/nice." Do guys really take you being friendly or nice as flirting? Because I do not want to not be my real self-yet at the same time I do not want to send the wrong message. By the way I am very modest when I dress..so no sending the wrong message there! ;)

A GUY WITH NO MORALS NOR DISREGARD TO FEELINGS BUT JUST THINK

When a cutie smiles at me, I immediately start thinking - Hmm...maybe she likes me!
Maybe I'm just an old lonely loser.
It's kinda flattering. Just yesterday, I noticed a woman jogging, and I smiled at her as she looked my way. She smiled back, and I said wow, what a nice looking woman. I wonder what it would be like....I wonder if she's married....I wonder if she's happily married....
I'm not a stalker, and even if she turned around and asked me to come over, I wouldn't know the first thing to do. I just have an active imagination- and maybe a deflated ego.
Forgive me. I am working on becoming more realistic.

You can't stop smiling and laughing. You have to be yourself!
Not all men think that smiling and laughing is flirting. If you are with friends or a special guy why shouldn't you be happy and fun?
I think that most men stand back and say well she acts that way with everyone. She likes to be who she is. She is confident. I think they like that.

Honestly, all people like people who smile. And guys like girls even more when they smile at them...but that does not mean that smiling in and of itself is flirty. I think the main thing for us guys is for you to give us a stern "no" the minute you are not interested and he shows interest. Do not be nice and compromise your standards to avoid offending him. Guys need to be told no when that is what you mean, and you need to stand firm behind it.
But there is nothing wrong with smiling...more people should smile...shoot it's healthy!

I have the same problem, well I did in the past. Desperados respond to you being nice to them, and start fantasising and being obsessed. You will find a nice guy, who respects you and who likes you. Maybe you are hanging out at the wrong places

It would be hard to answer your question without (pardon the expression) seeing you in action. I love friendly and flirty women because they are truly funny and I always know that they have their limitations and that they are not sending out mixed signals.

well.........i dont think so infact guys get angry if u hang ur face & dont give them a smile & think that u r upset coz of them its the type the way u give a smile might b the guy wasnot the kind any way get da hell out of ur mind that sum guy say u a bad wurd or threatens u coz u gave a smile or were freindly .............there r da kinda guys who u cn look out clearly ............just stay a little away n watch out ************* guys like gurls SMILE***********

there is nothing wrong with being nice and having a positive attitude ... if u feel good inside then its natural for u to be happy and smile ... thats wat this world needs more of darlin ... keep ur positive attitude and ur great big smile ... and who cares if they think ur flirty ... be happy and smile ur azz off :)
