OK, so I'm NOT trying to "ditch" school& be a bad student... (actually, I'm a good student- never ditched a day of school, never failed in a class, got A's...) BUT I've been REALLY stressed out about friends, family, SCHOOL, etc. lately (and have no time to relax& sleep) and I REALLY feel like I need to take a day off to sleep in& relax... But my parents are really strict& won't let me skip school, unless I'm really sick (like fever, or flu... not cold tho) So I need some ideas on fake-sicking... I really need some tips- it's 10:45 PM, and I have until 7:00 AM to do this...

oh yeah- my mom, when she checks temperature, she checks my forehead, so I can't use the "put the therometer next to the lamp" idea...

ps. my parents are REALLY strict- they won't just say, "Oh- you look tired... you don't have to go to school tomorrow..." TRUST ME- THEY DO NOT DO THAT

Splash water on your face and pretend it's sweat. get a wash cloth and put in on your forehead. Pretend to be freezing cold one minute, and boiling hot the next. Pretend to take lots of pain killers. Wake them up often and tell them you feel sick, and that you can't sleep. If you can, cry to make your eyes look red and puffy.

try and stay up all night, you're eyes will be baggy, and every 30 minuts or so get up and flush the toilet, it will make them think you are having stomach problems, if they offer you medicine, decline it and say "I already took some before you got up"

trust me i'm a pro at it, but you might just be putting yourself under even more stress by doing this

If you have any vizine (the stuff for your eyes) pour some in a liquid (coffee, juice, milk). Make sure your parents drink some and they will get the runs. You could fake it. They will think is was something you all ate. You could stay home.

I would let them know that you need time off from your schedule..It can be detrimental to your health,so surely they will understand that aspect of it..
One day off won't ruin all your efforts in school I am sure,so remind them your only human & need time to yourself to regroup in order to maintain your standards in school as well as your social life..Good luck!
