Each boy in this family: B
Has as many sisters as brothers: B+(1S+1B)
But each girl has twice as many brothers as sisters: 2B:1S
I'm assuming there's only one sister by the title and the wording of the question. I dunno. Except 3 children is not several, it's a few children...

What about two boys n one girl. So if every boy has one sister and one brother ans then the girl has two brothers and no sisters. Makes sense to me.
