I am wearing more socks, have extra blankets and tried cuddling. Our house is old and too many cold spots. I wish I could move to a warmer climate. Have prememopause but the hot flashes only come in the summer. Alot of great ideas, thanks.

A cotton shirt beneath a wool sweater. Leave the windows in the back of the house open and not the front. Put up Venetian blinds and throw blankets over if necessary. Have your insulation checked. New houses are often made poorly and lack the proper insulation, just as old houses often have problems with mugginess and ventilation.

Add all those sweaters, coats, scarves, hat and golves together when staying outside are big helps. I find pea coat one of the best protection during winter.
For inside, wear those warm/ thick socks, thick sweat shirts and pants then turn up your termostat---remember that your heater bill will be high though, but I am willing to pay as long as it keeps me warm. lol

Wear extra layers of clothing and two pairs of socks. And a jacket plus mittens. That should keep you warmer.

Blankies. Lots and lots o' blankies.
A man helps, too. But those aren't always accessible. ;)
By the way, theonewhoflewoverthebarn, you might be trying to insult fat women, and if you are, you don't know what you're missing.
