Yes, I believe in the betterment of all people, not just those close to me. I find it's hard to take the criticism when it's not from someone you know well however.

Of course! You may have a peer or colleague that can't stand you but in order to bring something to your attention, like "Don't use the xerox machine that way. Try this", he or she is improving your performance. It has nothing to do with love. Besides, sometimes people who love you don't know how to criticize constructively at all, because they love you and are emotionally involved...

Yes. People can want you to do well and succeed, so they choose to give you constructive criticism so that you'll do better.

I would offer constructive criticism to anybody who asked me, and I would always tell them my honest opinion.

I'd say 50-50.

Because you cant really trust someone who dont love you as hatred is alot of things. For example- jealousy. When someone is jealous of you they tend to critisize you and only focus on your bad flaws hence the critism by them.
However sometimes these ppl are the ones that know your bad flaws better, therefore they speak the truth. It will hurt you but it will build you. So i'd say that its 50-50..

depends on how you perceive it.
