Keep troops from active combat.
The majority already are kept restricted to base. Another wasted opportunity to deal with the real issue of dealing with the mess that is Iraq?

They have rounded up ten of the best government thinkers in the Country and ordered them to come up with a solution.
There is even armed guards at every door to keep them in. But this is a problem that all the kings best men can not resolve.

The genius's that sent our Armies to Iraq well never be able to accept the only resolution that is both proper and appropriate. We must admit our mistake.

Ignorance is not an excuse when it comes to a bloody war.

Iraq is a quagmire of incomprehensible complexity - so far, every "solution" seems to be mutually exclusive with one necessary objective or another.

How do we win this war, and if we can't,
how do we get out without giving the Islamic terrorists a victory? How do we respond with any effectiveness, if we retreat, should there be another attack on our soil? How can our military might ever be used again in strengthing our position in any negotiating situation? And even worse, if we cut and run, will our military even be a deterrent to attacks in the future?

Let us hope there will be some new strategies and a better way to win this war after all of the analysis and debate is finished. I still feel strongly that this is a war we must win.

My guess is that it will confirm that we are losing yet another war and that we should just stick to blowing things up and then go home. In fact we should just rent out our military to both sides that way we wont need to plan for peace ever.

Iraq wasn't nearly the mess it is now when we got there. What should we do? I think we should apologize and get the hell out!

Baker's report is as useless as... as... I dunno, the UN, I'd imagine. There's no substitute for VICTORY.
