Please don't pitch me if your real estate agent. I am looking for multiple suggested sites. The goal is to buy the house. I want to know everything I can about a specific address, the original sales prices, how many owners, what did each owner buy it for, the mortgage balance, INTEREST RATE if possible has the property been refinanced, every possible thing?

It would be very cool if all that info was on the internet, but alas, it will take some legwork. A few cities have made it so you can see the current owner and what they paid at http://patriotproperties.com/Webpro_clients.htm but the rest are things that you would have to get from the County Deed Registry and City Hall. You could call, it's possible they would do it for you, for a fee. Some of it, like refinancing and interest rates, are private bank records, so the info will not be available to you.

Go into Yahoo! and do a search for the following:

(enter your county name here) tax assessor

-or-

(enter your county name here) tax auditor

Once you get onto the site, find the Property Search area, and enter in the address of the property - there you go!

You can also call up the county, and ask for their web address for property tax search information.

As an example - here is my county site - take a look at it, just click the picture once the window loads and a new window will open with the search.
