He may have just been daydreaming, or distracted. He could have been affected by the beer. Alcohol makes you lose you inhibitions. That means that if you usually don't say or do things, after you have a beer, (or less), you won't be afraid to do them. That is why so many shy people, or non talkers, talk, and say things they would not normally say, but do when they have drank.
Maybe he was thinking about how nice TG would be.
You may never know. I have a Friend who was killed on a cycle too. I never knew, and finally stopped feeling like I could have done something to help.

I am so sorry about the loss of your friend.
Accidents are possible. If he saw something out of the corner of his eye that grabbed his attention at just the wrong moment, it's anybody's guess what can happen.
On motorcycles, even a superb rider is at higher risk than one surrounded by automobile. I lived for years with a biker who was an ace rider, and we had an accident because he got a mosquito up his nose at the wrong moment, as one example.
Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Definitely accident, possibly from just not paying attention with all the things he had going on in his day/week/life. I've done investigations on two motorcycle accidents that were similar to this one and always will marvel over how such a tiny object as a motorcycle always seems to manage to hit something standing all by itself. I am sorry for your loss, and for his family's.

Sorry for such a tragic loss. You said he was a hot dog on a bike. If he was standing on the seat or attempting to do a stunt, he may not have been able to grab the brake or steer the bike. Maybe all he could do was try to jump off the bike.

Likely to be accident. No reason for suicide. Maybe visual was bad on the road? Felt asleep while riding? Got distracted by something?Alcohol intolerance-- beer? Btw what do you mean by fatally injured? and who or what is an EXCEPTIONAL rider?

to me it sounds like a regular accident but if it just doesn't sit right with you then repeat to yourself "means, motive, and opportunity." Who would do this, who would benefit from your friends death, and who knows so much about him to pull it off with out a second thought from anyone.

Request an autopsy and get a lawyer involved sounds like murder to me something fishy here. I don't think it was an accident with one beer and not a suicide either.
