There has been a lot of talk about these two team's. Should these two teams play one another who would walk of the park as the winner and why.

It would be interesting to see a North vs South title decider to see who is the best club in the world.
That being said, I think the Crusaders would wipe the floor with Munster. In fact, the Crusaders would probably beat most international teams.

I think Southern Hemisphere provincial rugby is of a much higher standard than the Northern Hemisphere's. The European teams would really struggle to play in a tournament like the Super14.

It would be an interesting match. The two teams play totally different rugby. Munster likes to play traditional rugby with the forwards thumping up the middle. Crusaders like a more free wheeling game. The Munster solid defence could stall the Crusaders but the Munster backline I don't think could contain the Crusaders backs. In the end the extra mobility of Canterbury would take the game. Be good to see though.

What a fantastic game it would be! After having seen both play in the last twelve months I believe it would be edged by the Crusaders after Munster led for most of the game. Very close and brutal. What a game. Somebody organise it please!

As for Benno, has to be a blinkered Southerner without a clue! It is now Super 14 and many teams would not come close to beating Munster. Most Aussie and Bok teams would probably lose.

Crusaders would thump them! - but then again I reckon any Super 12 team would beat Munster in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern Hemisphere it may be a different story, but the Crusaders would win home or away cos they are class!

Crusaders. The difference will be the following:

Daniel Carter at fly halve - a very crutial position and the best in the world
Richie McCaw as ball fetcher - nr 1 in the world
Chris Jack in line outs - Very tall and nr 3 in the world (behind Victor Matfield and Bakkies Botha of SA)
Backline - Crusaders has a backline that can anyday step into any international side.

The canterbury Crusaders? well they are completly different, the crusaders are a franchise made up of many different club teams. I don't know much about munster, but I think the crusaders would clean them up.

i imagine this is an in intensity recreation, Munster are a good section and on their day ought to o.k. problem the Crusaders. although the Crusaders are a properly disciplined and balanced section. they save their composure lower than all adversities and stress and take advantage of their fighters weaknesses a trait properly indoctrinated lower than the impacts of their previous coach Robbie Deans. Crusaders to win.

I think they should but I would put my money on the Crusaders. Considering all the talk about the Super 14 being inferior to its European counterpart. Although I don't think they did very well in the National Provincial Championship, but again that's good for rugby. Especaill rugby back home, its no good for one team to dominate. We had that with Auckland.

I have to say Munster or my boyfriend would kill me. I saw them win the Heinken cup and they were amazing. They have been putting out there second team this season but with all the main players playing, they would win. I saw the play this year and they were brilliant.
