Black is a really good game I would suggest. Killzone on the other hand was supposed to be Sonys version of Halo, but fell very short of Halo. I really liked the Medal of Honor series of FPS's, if you are into WW2 games.

what kind of FPS do you like? Both killzone and black are a lot of fun and set in the future of sort but the only thing i didn't like was that you can't jump in either game. if you want to go more towards a militay type then battlefield 2 modern combat is lots of fun you have 4 or 5 different classes of soldiers and in single player mode you can transfer from 1 soldier to another by pressing a button, you can drive every vehicle including helicopters and multiplayer is great if you go online. Star Wars: Battlefront 1 and 2 are both fun as well.
I recomend to go out and rent a game at a Hollywood video/Blockbuster or where ever and then if you like it go and buy it if you think its going to have great replay value.
Last thing if you want a great game to play get resident evil 4 its got a great story and great gameplay!

- Black
- Timesplitters 2 (it's better than 3 for the multiplayer, if single player is more your thing go Timesplitters 3)
- Killzone
- BattleField 2: Modern Combat

Time Splitters 2 was good but now its a Time Splitters III.
Area 51 is the best I played online. U have a different set of battles to choose from and the graphics are pretty good.

rainbow six vegas is a good FPS!!! the whole R6 series is more exciting than black... black isnt even realistic!!! pistol bullets cant break walls than rifle bullets!!! for great graphics choose either black/halo3/R6V/R6 lockdown/ G.R.A.W. (ghost recon advanced warfighter ( mine is 1st person!) ) thats all you got to pick man!!1

Yeah , I heard a lot of fuss about BLACK when it was released . It looks promising . I would recommend it .

Either Black or maybe Socom..... Black is better.... and its "Dark"
