Despite their ever changing band member issues, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are what I'd call "shock-rebels"--who make good use of sensuality AND sensual erotic sounds in their music that is solidly rooted deep within the Californian Latina rebel teen community.
And from all this essence, the Peppers have found the audio pheneromes that catch our ears...and get us both thinking AND feeling sexy, with a "what the hell, have fun" train of thought.

Because they're just one of those bands that was lucky enough to be remembered by time and always will be.Their music is good, and at the same time, styles that almost anyone can like.

You know how when you see a band live, and they are a million times better in concert than on the cd, thats why for me. I don't even like other mainstream bands, thats pretty much it for me. Btw how is that considered emo...

im not a huge fan of RHCP myself, im more of the Zeppelin/Floyd kinda guy.
RHCP has been around for a while, they've been huge in concerts, and they hit it big with Stadium Arcadium. its one of those bands that most ages and people today enjoy, kinda like the Rolling Stones and their new music.

Funny, just had this conversation today. Ive even tried to like them, and i cant. They have a few(very few) catchy tunes, but it ends there for me. I think its popular to like them???
