I partied like it was 1999! I decided to fly to Richmond and attend this really fabulous NY Eve party with my then soon to be ex-fiance.

We did have bottled water in the room.

I was kind of hoping computers would crash and we could go back to the good old days.

Horses and buggies, and all that. Like the Amish. They do fine. Well, they do. And they are good Christians who live in peace.

EDIT: Never attend parties where cameras are invited.

During the last night of December 1999, I was waiting for the computers to breakdown in our company but it did not happen. My duty was fine that night with no unusual incident.

I didn't think anything would happen. People like to get others in a panic. Gets people out shopping more if you ask me. I stayed home with the family that night.

Nothing. That computer Y2K frenzy was fun to watch though. The greatest scam in world history.

I was actually hoping that all computers would crash and we could have a real power outage and not have to go to work.

My memory of that night is rather fuzzy.... I think I had too much to drink. Someone has a video of it though... that much I do remember.

I was f'n pregnant...so I didn't get to party like it was 1999....

But I did think that something was going to happen with the roll over from 1999-2000....wasn't sure what.

I really wasn't too concerned. I went to a bar and saw my buddies band play, then at midnight, I kissed my girlfriend and did a shot of tequila.
