it is called PUPPPS. I can't remember exactly what it stands for, but it is an itchy rash. You have got to go full force on the lotion and cream.
1. don't use any creams that have fragrance/perfume/alcohol.
2. I used Eucerin cream (the really thick stuff in the big white plastic tub). You have to rub it between your hands for a long time before it is soft enough to spread on your stomach.
3. Put the cream on right after you have just taken a shower or bath, and are still a little damp. This is the only opportunity you have to lock in the moisture with cream..
4. Drink lots of water.
I had the itching problem ONE day out of my pregnancy, and switched to eucerin, and never had the problem again. (you can buy the generic store brand as well...it is the same thing)

Oh yeah! During pregnancy not only does your stomach grow but unfortunately so does the rest of your body. So as you gain weight your skin stretches causing sensations that make you itch. So i would moisturise with vitamin e and coco butter every day.

I had that during my first pregnancy, I purchased a tube of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula, Massage Cream For Stretch Marks which is known for being wonderful... It got rid of the itching fast and I was stretch mark free. I ended up going through bottles and bottles!!

Oh yes. I remember when I was pregnant with my son last year, I was sooooo itchy...my arms, legs, belly. What helped was just using coco butter after showering and before going to bed.

Yes, with my first pregnancy was like that. I was told to take an oatmeal bath which I did and it helped. Also, put lotion on my skin a couple times a day. Talk to your doctor and see if you could take an oatmeal bath.
