I really have a good feeling about this yr.Wanna no why? Because we finally realized,YOU CAN"T BUY A WORLD SERIES
CHAMPIONSHIP! Cashman said we are not going to spend crazy amounts of money on Pitchers. We could have had Zito,
and any of the other pitchers who were free agents, but Cashman
is trying to build up the farm again with young arms. And It's been long over do,he's trying to go back to the way we did things in the 90's, I really belive we will no longer be going for these BIG Superstars,It just isn't working out.We got 3 young pitchers from the tigers,We have Hudges,And we are going to sign that young left handed Japenese guy,And maybe Andy Pettitte,And that's fine with me,Andy is a true Yankee,i have a Great feeling about next yr!! Also look for Carl Pavano to be our Dark Horse,In todays paper it was reported that he's working out like a horse,
and he's supposed to be in GREAT SHAPE!! And he said he knows this is his last chance to prove he can pitch,He's gonna be our Dark Horse!!!!!

Well if you've been following baseball throughout your life, you know that anything can happen in this game.
For the past six years we have learned one thing about the New York Yankees and their organization......MONEY DOESN'T WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS.
It was reported, that in the 2006 season alone, the Yankees spent over 100 million dollars on players salary compared to the St. Louis Cardinals. Did they win?? No. It's been this way since 2000.
With all that said, the New York Yankees are still the best team in baseball, but the best team doesn't always win. Like I said, when it comes to baseball, anything can happen.

I go into every season saying the Yankees are going to win the world series. As a Yankee fan I expect to win it every year. I also have been disappointed every year since 2000.
If the sign Pettite, I beleive they'll have the pitching to do so.

Not in the next few years unless they drastically improve their pitching rotation. Mussina is getting old; Johnson is all washed up; Pavano disappoints; Wang is hot and cold. All of the portends poorly for the stumbling Yankees.
Chow!!
