I have an appointment for a first time brazilian bikini wax tommorow and i am wondering how much is an appropriate tip? i am a waitress and i always tip my server atleast 20% min. up to even 50% for excellent service. I was just wondering for anyone that has had this done or does it for a living what an appropriate tip would be. thank you! p.s. any tips for a first time would be greatly appreciated! not worried about the pain just the uncomfortable, embarrassing parts! thank you :)

practical tips or paying tips?
just wash your goods down there before getting a wax. if they are super long trim them because the pulling will hurt more if the hairs are long.

as for the tipping itself--think of it this way--the wax lady does this professionally--she has to look at, touch and smell 20 vaginas a day. give her something a little worth her while. 20-30% up should do the trick...

A bikini wax simply covers the seen field external of the specific bikini bottoms, so no you wont have to do away with all apparel. A brazilian is while all of your hair is waxed off, so you're going to have to do away with apparel however be warned this alternative takes longer and is extra painful! You mainly lie down on a desk, and it's surely that it is going to handiest be you and the beautician so do not fear approximately that :) From my enjoy the instantaneous results after waxing are purple and rather sizzling dermis, that could be a bit of sore for a couple of hours however you'll calm this response with an ice dice otherwise you simply allow it move down on its own. Enjoy your excursion!! x

The appropriate tip is 15 - 20 percent. First time tips? Be very clean, don't be embarassed, and try not to be tense. It does hurt. Take a walkman or an iPod, and concentrate on the music, it will be all done before you know it.

Generally, you would tip an esthetician the same as you would a hair stylist...18-20 percent.

Definitely take something to loosen up before you go in. And don't go right before your period. They're pros, so call them and ask!
