It is a toss up, USC plays very well in big time games (not conference rivals) but Michigan wants to prove something to the nation. It is going to be a close one but I"m going to go with Michigan by three.

Even though it was three years ago, USC beat Michigan 28-7 for the 2004 Rose Bowl. This year I don't think USC will win big but I think they will end up winning a close one.

I wouldn't depend on these types of polls (consensus) because most people will be actually answering "who do you want to see winning?" instead of "who do you think is going to win?" You are better off studying the line's movement.
Tip: pay attention to HEAVY favored teams by the public (not heavy favored spreads), especially during big championships. Remember Ohio State vs Michigan? UCLA vs USC? Georgia Tech vs Wake Forest? These were great money flaws, and I loved 'em.LOL

If USC players show up like they're supposed to then they may blow Michigan out. If they play like they did against those unranked bastards then they will get blown out by the wolverines big time.
It's a toss up.

USC. Though both teams are over rated, they are both pissed off to be playing in this game and not the Rose bowl, so it should be fun to watch, but every time Lloyd Carr goes to a bowl game in recent years, he looses, Pete Carrol winns. To me, it's that simple. Alot of college football comes down to coaching, i know this, I go to Michigan State, and Carrol just knows how to win bowl games, maybe not rivalry games though.

I can't stand USC. so i'm saying Michigan. . . USC is just like the New York Yankees. They always find ways to win. YOu were think they were cheating somehow. . . I can't stand the Yankees either.

That will certainly be a game to watch. Either team could win that one. I think Michigan will come out ahead though. They will take it home with them. They just seem to want it abit more. Since Florida leaped over them, they thrive for all eyes on them alone.

USC.
USC's Coach has a gift, and a lot of talent on his team. Michigan is over rated.
