One of my favorite lines by Robert Service is "A promise made is a debt unpaid."

If you can name the poem, you can consider yourself awarded a paper star, like in grade-school.

The Cremation of Sam McGee

There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge
I cremated Sam McGee.

Pretty much all politicians are lawyers who couldn't seem to find work in a courtroom ( personal opinion ) another man once said that congress was the only distinct criminal class this country has and it couldn't be coincidence that 98% of congress is lawyers ( Samuel Clemons ) wish I had said it because I surely see them flushing this country down the toilet for what appears to be personal gain even their campaign promises are called in the trade by what appears to be the only honesty "lies"
