I have two Bala Sharks that are always together in the tank, but one of them has a red dorsal fin, and his second set of ventral fins is red too. The other one is fine. The two sharks are small/medium sized, and I also have an Iridecent Shark and a Pleco. Is this a fungus or something? I really love my fish, so someone please help on what it is and how to treat it! Thank you!

Hi hun:)
I love sharks as well, so I hope I can help you out!
First off, red fins are definitely a bad sign, if you are 100% sure they are bala sharks.
They are an indication of an infectious disease and/or an environmental clash (something is doing the bala shark harm in your tank) perhaps he's more sensitive than the other fish, and it is affecting this particular fish first.
You need to get an ammonia test kit, as well as a pH test kit... test kits are VERY valuable to have for the health of your fish :)
If you're still getting nothing after you do your tests, do a 25% water change and test again.
There may be something in your tank affecting the fish- is everything (decorations, rocks) in your tank aquarium suited?
Also, make sure your tank was properly cycled, this could explain the red finnage as well.
Are you new to caring for fish, or have you cared for this particular type before? Bala's will surely grow a foot, and iridescent sharks can grow 3 feet or more O_O Hope you have a ton of room in your tank <:D I didn't have enough space for my balas, which is why I sadly had to pass them on to a friends tank- which had much more space for the giants to roam around in.
These sharks do jump quite a bit, and can hurt themselves easily. But this definitely is a case of infection or trouble within the tank.
I really hope you find the solution!
And if you don't, please come back and ask again, or email me at shazam26@hotmail.com, I'll help you with anything else you may run into trouble with.
If you want a really indepth answer, a great place to go in regards to your fish is this website:
http://www.wetwebmedia.com/
They are specialists in aquarium care, and anyone there who can answer your question will answer it depending on the type of fish you own- they have bala specialists over there, as well is iridescents, and Plecos! (A good place to go for plecos as well is planetcatfish.com)

I hope I gave you everything you need, best of luck!
