music is poetry combined with tones, that create an effect in the speaker's feelings and the context of the song. if music doesn't have a lyric, then just the music itself creates that effect

This is a very complicated question. One could define music as sonority, using melody, harmony, and structure to create a piece. But then again, contemporary composer John Cage had a piece with complete silence that was considered music. So, to really define music in a general sense is almost impossible, or at least to have an agreed upon opinion. Really it is up to the individual to define what music is to them.
I've had a professor ask this question in class, "Is Beethoven's 9th Symphony music or noise when you're trying to study for an exam?" The answer is noise, or "unwanted sound" because you don't want to hear it then. You might want to hear it in a concert hall if you like classical era music, but in that capacity it's a nuisance.
So really, to give a general definition (in an ungeneral way) Music is putting a frame work around some kind of sonority, whether it be a complicated sonata form piece for piano, or a three chord rock and roll song, or ambient noise in a concert hall while the performer does nothing on stage.

world's best creeation. i think that music is magical. it can be like a remedy for the peson , but the condition is it must have the good poetry along with teh good singer and good music instrments. it is actual life.
