The answer is four. The closed universe means that it will stop expanding after a while and start to collapse.

It means we are inside a black hole. Think about it. Nothing can escape a black hole, and the mass of the universe is so great it will force itself to collapse.

i dont think any of those, and any concrete solution should be not 100% positive. Closed means it has nothing outside affecting it.
If things shot outwards by an explosion, then you would think the explosion would cease to expand. But what will stop it expanding? The mass of the explosion itself. The real question is where things are at the end of the explosion, because if it is truly blanced, then equally heavy things will be all around scattered evenly. This will be a symetrical universe. Also you must ask if all things tend to chnage to matter. Assuming there are no forces we dont understand, and all things change to matter. it would seem it should atract itself once it stops growing, collapse on itself, then some super black hole will be made. We all know black holes start from an explosion, so would another explosion that began it all start the process over again. And how many universes have we had. You see why the solution is not 100%
