Girls stop growing height wise when they have thier first cycle. The reason for this being at that time the hips are large enough to support giving birth without danger to the mother (usually) and as far as growth goes, thats all that is needed.
The facial bones often change after this however, as do some other charectoristics, but bone growth stops.

Most women stop growing by the time they are 17 or 18 (so towards the end of high school)

Well since I'm really short, I'm going to stop growing at around almost 30 or something. I'm 17 years old, 4 feet 5 inches tall.
I think it all depends on what you're like now to tell when you stop growing.

Technically speaking, no one stops growing. Even after you're DEAD, your ears grow (this has been scientifically proven, though major growths are not reported). Having said that, when you're alive you will ALWAYS grow in the fingernails, and hair of some sort.
