The US should not bully the Philippines for the custody of the convicted American Marine because it was stipulated in the Treaty that any suspect of a crime should be turned over to Philippine prisons after all the judicial proceedings had ended.

Just like what have been said, the incident did happen here, so we (i'm a filipino ) have the right to seek custody...i know there is this visiting-forces agreement, but was it stated in the agreement that any form of violence or whatever would be tolerated?

Because the VFA(visiting forces agreement) is not clear on the policies. It should be revised in favor of the Phil goverment.

US is noted for bullying small and weak countries. But our stupid officials chose to be bullied by the US because we also gain from them, rather than by terrorist countries like China, Iraq, North Korea.
I'ts choosing the less evil.

In case you haven't heard, that Marine has been sentenced to 40 years in prison. What a dishonourable thing to do for the Marine.
