"We" who? "We" aren't a community, don't you remember your own quote?
Your stereotyping is unappreciated.

Now that metrosexuality is mostly accepted among straight guys, gays no longer have any sort of special powers. A lot of us hetero guys have the same feminine insights and fashion sense as queers claim to but until the last few years we weren't allowed to display these characteristics for fear of being labeled a "******" by our less-enlightened peers.
You make a big deal out of being woman-proof but the gays that I know get more wound up over other homos than any straight guy ever did over a girl, so I'm not really sure what you're bragging about here.
You really do need to get over yourself. Being gay isn't some kind of exclusive club you were chosen for. You're no more special than anyone else.

Personally I think it's down to the fluidity of sexuality i.e we don't always fit neatly into the 'gay' 'straight' boxes. If you have to fight for what you believe in you always get to know yourself in a way some people never really have to consider. I'll use a friend as an example. He had his 'first' relationship with a big butch rugby captain in a private school. He boarded at this school, so whe little snippets of this relationship came out. he had to face the agression of his contemporaries who he lived with day and night. Then he had to face the prejudices of teachers and tutors who were supposed to be his educators and mentors. Then he had to face the prejudices of his own family as they seemed to care more about how this would appear to others, then their son's feelings and future happiness. Despite all this pressure on all sides from influential people in his life. He still knew what he was doing wasn't dirty or wrong. He even managed to win some people over, because fortunately not every was as irrational as at first appeared and people could see the illogical reactions of others wasn't fair.
I guess the short of it is he knew himself well enough to know what he felt and did was 'right' therefore to coin a phrase he was able to keep his head whilst all around him were losing theirs and make some wry observations about humankind! Sounds about dramatic, but the point remains the same. Everyone has intuition, but alot of gay men and women are forced into questioning themselves in a way others simply don't, that allows them to become more aware of certain in nate instincts that others ignore!

Well I sort of agree - gay men can see deeper, at least I can.
Women have no power over me - never did - and I can read their minds upside down , inside out, backwards, forwards, north, east, west, and south.
I understand women but not cause I like them or crave their company. I understand them as my adversaries.
Straight men lack our special perceptions and approach.
Gay men are very different in their mentality - at least I know that I am. My brain is radically different from straight "guys" or "dudes" - as different as heaven is from hell !!!!!!

I was a "f** hag" for a while, and a gay man will consider a female in a pinch.
