The "Midwest" is a huge area. I live in the Upper Midwest and we currently have a lake effect snow warning--up to 14 inches through tomorrow. So I guess the answer is "yes".

Yes i got a good amount of that snow. The season hasnt even started, expect much more

"The Season" if you mean winter, hasn't even started yet. This is still autum! Does that give you a hint?
