How can people be so dumb to try it when they can see what it does to people??

eveybody tries it thinking that they won't get addicted. its a fun high. people love it and keep doing it and they get addicted. basically, curiosity killed the cat

Aside from pier pressure and a " it won't happen to me" outlook on " dangerous behavior"; there is the motivation which has propelled human kind from the stone age to the stoned age and that is curiosity. There is an abundance of American cultural history in which " forbidden" substances have had great influence. Unfortunately, some individuals in the quest for "enlightenment" do not have the proper guidance and fall into an abyss of abuse, others can live with recollection of the experience and return again for " recreational" purposes at a time of their choosing. Some have a predisposition for abuse while others find the altered awareness to be discomforting and refrain from repeating the event. Have patience with yourself and others seeking the answer to "why".

Some people are sick, as in not well. My ex husband was a crack addict for 10 years, still fights it. he finally went to a psychiatrist who confirmed long time suspicion that he is bipolar. He has been self medicating with drugs and alcohol for a long time. Then some people are looking for an escape from reality. It takes all kinds. I wouldn't do it, and I will do everything I can to prevent my daughter from turning out like her father. But it is just the way some people are, like moths to a light.

meth is a big problem in the apt complex I live in many of the residents that have since moved have delt meth right in their apts 2 times in the apt below me I'm the 2th floor And yes it is cheap and not to difficult to make it. My ex-husband is a former meth addict he would sleep a lot and be really nasty towards me and he said when he was really heavily using it he'd sit on the roof of the house watching for police.

Meth really is stupid. It's poison. People who do meth should look at before and after pictures of meth users. In just 6 months of doing meth, you look like complete crap. It's crazy how much you change in such a short period of time.

Just stick to marijuana. Heh. It's much safer. Seriously.

you'd be surprised what some people will do for a sensation. meth is some pretty serious stuff, we're talking about household chemicals and toxic labs. drugs are screwed up for sure.

but i guess that last sentence makes me a hipocrite, cuz i smoke pot and drink.

people are gonna do whatever the hell they want, but you gotta be a real idiot to go near meth. it aint pretty.

Because it doesn't do the same thing to every person.. i know from experience i am ashamed to say me and the ex use to do it every now and then he is now in drug court over his meth habit just spent a year in a "prison rehab" however i never got into it like that and since i had kids do not use any type of drug so not everyone gets out of control with it

I have to ask that about all the hard drugs. I guess people feel they're immune to the bad effects it will have or their life is so bad that they'll do anything for an escape. As a social worker, I've seen people come down off crack. Not a pretty sight. Not a pretty sight at all.

They think after only one time they can't get addicted to it, so they try it. Then it feels so damned good they can't wait to do it again, before they know it there's no way out.
