You could say so. You have no real method of escape. And, even if you did, you wouldn't know where to go.
But this would only be in the context of a civilization outside of Earth, such as a large group of planets, where people could then arrest you and send you off to Earth as some far away prison.
However, I don't think you see that as a problem right now.
If you get the idea that Earth is a prison, try taking a vacation, go to the beach, go hiking, go skiing, etc. You can make life fun in the prison of Earth.

Yes of course! Many have done it. SOme have come back and some didn't. SOme have chosen to end their lives and they're gone. SOme have enough money to go somewhere but they come back. Tis life is a probationary time to prepare ourselves to meet God so I guess to call it a prison palnet is close. You're here to be tested and you are here to learn. Whatever mission you may have in this life, after you're accomplished that, perhaps you get the chance to leave this planet or maybe you will be "twinkled" and be given a piece of eternal domain on this planet. Anyway, you best enjoy what you have on this planet, perhaps, when you get a chance to see the others, you'd know what to do.

Of course I could leave the planet. Just like a prisoner can escape prison. Now will I survive outside this planet? Probably not right now. However one of Saturn's moons,Titan, has many chemicals that we believe created the foundation of Earth. So maybe someday we will not be bound to this planet like a "prisoner".I don't have a desire to leave anyway, its just like they say. " The grass is always greener on the other side."

We are totally dependent upon the Earth as our life support. We could temporarily leave this planet with astronaut suits, but not for long. Eventually, we would have to come back to the earth if we wish to survive.
If there is another planet that can support life, we would need a spacecraft capable of keeping us alive long enough so that we can reach our destination.

No, it's a classroom planet and I'm pretty sure I leave it almost every time I go to sleep. Some of the return landings aren't very smooth.

Its all approximately funds. The extra "criminals" are locked up the extra funds prisons acquire from the government. while prisons began going from being federally ran to being privatized further and extra human beings have been arrested. exceedingly non violent first time drug offenders.

We can't "really" know the answer to that question unless we've lived somewhere else to compare earth to it. Right?
