I burped and farted really loud and I blamed my 9 mos old grandson. Should I tell my son and his wife what I did and tell the baby I am sorry. Oh... I even told this 4 yr old little girl, his cousin that she was the one who burped when we were Christmas shopping in Walmart. Should I tell her I am sorry too?

If it happened while Christmas shopping you sould have blamed the girl at the perfume counter, especially if it was in Wal Mart that makes it that much more believeable.

This is very silly.
No. Don't apologize unless the kids were really upset about it.
The 9month old doesn't care.
The 4year old will just think your weird, unless she was punished for it.
If she was punished for *farting* etc. or reprimanded in public, then you can come forward in front of the family with the little girl and announce that you did a very bad thing.
You lied about farting and said the four year old did it.
Then ask the four year old what sort of punishment you should have for lying.
Whatever the kid says for punishment- do it.
Then say you are sorry. That you will not lie again about farting.
This will teach everyone a good lesson about owning up.
