I have a vtr1000f and LOVE it. Even after wrecking it and putting a bandaid on the gas tank (I am not sure the bike knows the difference LOL). Just had this question.
Also If I listen to earbud headphones I hear electronic interference that directly changes pitch and volume with RPM and at idle.....tick,tick,tick,tick,t,t,t,t, I think with the spark plugs.

You need resistor caps and resistor plugs. Make sure you have correct resistance for your bike as it affects the ignition. If its giving interference at least one is breaking down. How old is it? There is a definite lifespan on these components. It could do worse things than cause interference, it can cause the ECU/ECM to fail due to reverse EMF causing high peak voltage spikes in primaries which backfeed to ECU

Resistors in your spark leads are to reduce electrical interference. The oldest type of radio transmitter is a spark gap. The tick, tick at idle is the sound of your spark. A whining noise that increases in pitch and/or volume is from your alternator.

Some bikes such as vintage which are fitted with magnetos don't use resistor caps, as using these could damage the magneto. The high tension lead or leads from the magneto are connected directly by a brass connector at the spark plug---live and learn "Teach".

If you removed the resistor plug caps your static sound would probably get worse. Are you using resistor type spark plugs if not try them to see if it makes any difference
