Hi,
I'm looking at buying my very first computer, The choice has come down to either an Asus F3JC or Sony Vaio VGNC13. Which should I get???

The Sony has the following:-
Core™2 Duo Processor T5500 (1.66GHz)
Main Memory: 512MB DDR2 SDRAM (2 SO-DIMM slots, one occupied) (partially shared with video memory)
Hard Drive: 80GB
The ASUS has a 120GB hard drive, 1024MB memory, Core 2 Duo Processor. It's probably less portable than the Vaio but seems to have more...
Help....Totally confused.

since this is ur first computer,i would suggest sony vaio..
since i donno the use u r gonna buy it for, but sony i guess is always a better option brand wise, and service wise..
i don think this difference in processor speeds is worrisome for u,neither is memory difference a problem for u..
80 gb is in no way less for someone new ....

My Asus pc has out-lasted my Sony pc. My sony, the HD died, the battery died, and the DVD stress died... and now it desires a sparkling keyboard. My Asus hasn't had any issues yet. possibly my sony replaced into only a lemon? Asus makes international type motherboards, laptops, video playing cards and larger. they have laptops made from bamboo, aluminum, leather wrapped... they were given the most COOOOL laptops. wish this enables, Jeff
