Muse members are atheist?

how come ppl like the fact that the Members of the band Muse are atheist?Just because someone is religous or not doesnt mean you should like them more.

I don't like them because they're Atheists, I like them because they have really good music.

if muse are atheist i like their music less. I like the people the same but i appreciate muse's music less because the principles are dragged down.
